An afternoon in the Chemnitz Zoo

On the last day of August, a nice sunny Saturday, we did a little trip to the zoo in Chemnitz as SMD group with about 20 people. We left in the afternoon and went there by bus and some of us also by bike. When we arrived, we set out to explore the different parts and see various animals. We were able to see many animals from alpacas to goats to zebras. We even saw a tiger. And we went into a green house where we saw a sloth, too.

We enjoyed strolling around in smaller groups and enjoyed the nice weather and the community. And of course, some of us also had a delicious ice cream. It’s always nice to explore new corners of our city and it was really nice to spend this afternoon together.
